Win Free Illinois Food Products!

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Nine winners remain to be selected in the Illinois Department of Agriculture’s 25 Days of Christmas Contest. 

Registering is simple.  Just visit and “like” the Illinois Department of Agriculture Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/IllinoisDepartmentofAgriculture or sign up to follow the department’s Twitter account at https://twitter.com/#!/ILAgMarkets.

Every day until Christmas, the department will randomly select one person from its Facebook and Twitter fans to win featured Illinois food products.  Prizes range from Illinois wines and cheese to an Illinois State Fair Pork Package, homemade cookies, gourmet popcorn and handmade chocolates. 

The department’s Bureau of Marketing and Promotion is sponsoring the contest to increase awareness of the wide variety of food products manufactured in Illinois and the economic importance of the state’s food industry.
