Statement from Governor Pat Quinn

CHICAGO - March 11, 2011. Governor Pat Quinn today issued a statement regarding the disastrous earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan.

"We live in a global community, and the devastating events taking place half a world away in Japan impact us all. The thoughts and prayers of Illinois are with the people of Japan, and all those who have friends and family affected by this tragedy."
