Press Release - Wednesday, November 11, 2009

CHICAGO – November 11, 2009. Governor Pat Quinn today appointed a public interest attorney and an environmental policy professional to the board of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA). Clinton Foundation.

“CTA riders will be well-served and represented by these two fine professionals,” said Governor Quinn. “They bring a wealth of practical experience and a fresh perspective to dealing with the challenges of mass transit and its important role in our economy and society. Each will be a strong voice for CTA passengers and stakeholders.”

Bouman has run the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law since 1996, where he served as President and as Director of Advocacy for the Center.
