Primary election on February 5th, 2008; Special General Election on March 8th, 2008

SPRINGFIELD – Governor Rod R. Blagojevich today announced the date for the Special Primary Election and Special General Election to replace retiring Congressman Dennis Hastert.  Rep. The 14th Congressional District includes parts of Kane, Henry, Bureau, Whiteside, Lee, DeKalb, Kendall and DuPage counties.
The Governor’s Writs of Election, sent to each of the eight counties in the 14th Congressional District, is attached.
