Bliefnick Announces 2006 Illinois State Fair Arena Schedule Of Events

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Illinois State Fair Manager Amy Bliefnick today announced the Arena entertainment schedule for the 2006 Illinois State Fair.  The venue will host a three-night truck and tractor pull series presented by the Illinois Truck and Tractor Pull Association (ITPA), as well as Arena Cross and Freestyle Motocross racing and a rodeo featuring the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).
"The Arena is a fantastic venue for these action-packed activities and there isn't a bad seat in the house," Bliefnick said.  "We're excited about the changes we've made this year, especially the booking of the Professional Rodeo Circuit.  In addition, moving the truck and tractor pulls from the Grandstand to the Arena will enable that event to be expanded from a day-and-a-half to three evenings and should complement the Arena and Motocross races that are scheduled the first two days of the fair."
